1.4 - Adding products to your store
Ah, product creation! It's like the magic touch that brings your online store to life. Whether you're juggling physical or digital products, mastering the art of creating and configuring your products on your TPOP platform is key to the success of your business.
All you need to do is access the TPOP application home page, then move left to the "Products" section: you'll have the choice between creating a TPOP product or adding a product.
If you click on "Add a product", you can then choose the type of product you wish to add, physical or digital. These are products that do not appear in the TPOP catalog.
1 - Choose your product type
You can add digital or physical products. All you need to do is select the "product type" in the top right-hand corner, so that you can enter the correct information for your item.
Next, you'll need to fill in product information such as name, description, price and image, among others, so that your product is complete and ready for publication.
2 - A few tips for creating a high-performance product sheet
The product sheet is a crucial element in the online purchasing process. It can make all the difference between a curious visitor and an enthusiastic customer ready to take action. It would be a real shame to lose potential sales because of a poorly optimized product sheet.
2.1 - Clear titles and detailed descriptions
A clear title is essential to give customers a clear idea of what they can expect from the product. Use simple, relevant words that describe the product concisely. Avoid titles that are too long or confusing.
Descriptions provide customers with all the information they need to make an informed purchasing decision. Describe the product's main features, benefits, use and technical specifications.
In the textile sector, for example, it's vital to specify the size guide and the materials used to manufacture the product.
Overall, use persuasive language to highlight the product's strong points and arouse customer interest.
2.2 - High-quality images
Images are essential to help customers visualize the product. Use high-quality photos that show the product from different angles and in different contexts.
Feel free to create your own visuals or photographs to bring your product to life and embody your brand.
2.3 - The right price
Find out what your competitors are charging for similar products. This will give you an idea of industry standards and help you position your products in relation to the competition.
Consider the perceived value of your product to customers. What are the benefits and unique features of your product that might justify a higher price? Consider quality, design, branding and other factors that may influence customers' perception of value.
Feel free to experiment with different prices to see what works best for your business. You can use A/B tests to compare the performance of different price levels and adjust accordingly.
2.4 - Availability and delivery information
Be sure to provide clear information on product availability and delivery options. Indicate whether the product is in stock, the estimated delivery time and the delivery options available.
This will enable customers to make informed purchasing decisions.
3 - Publish your product online
Once you've filled in all the necessary fields, simply click on the "Save" button in the top right-hand corner of the page to finalize the creation of your product.
Once your product has been registered, you can preview it, then publish it on your TPOP site.
Congratulations! Your first product is online! 🎉 This is an exciting and rewarding moment in the journey of your online business. You've reached an important milestone and are now ready to share your creation with the world.
